At the '24 Hour' mark

she was fading...fast! Fading into a fit of giggles onto a duvet on the floor that is.

The child has determination ...& knows how to use it!
She is thrilled/excited/squealing every time she is told of another sponsor!

Of course I have had some in depth descriptions of exactly how the money she raises is going to help the children in Bangladesh.

As a Mum I am doubly proud of her! There is a computer in her room & all she needs to do is turn it on & she has net access. The green light on the wireless router hasn't flashed...not once. I haven't seen (it's pink & can't be missed) or heard the cell phone that is usually a constant source of beeps & sounds, & not a single squeak about being hungry.... just "can we please get some more Just Juice & Barley Sugar sweets Mum?"

We did! ;o)

World Visions 40 Hour Famine

This year I am going to do the 40 Hour Famine.
The rising costs in food have made it worse than ever for people in starving countries and I want to help.

Mum says that I wont last the 40 hours... she thinks that I am always hungry. We will see about that.

I have a page on the World Vision website that says what I am going to do. Gabie101
It would only let me pick one challenge for the 40 Hours so I had to pick food.
